The Supreme Court of Canada has clarified the scope of disclosure of police disciplinary records required by R. v. McNeil, 2009 SCC 3, affirming 7-0 that relevant expunged misconduct records of an investigating officer in an earlier criminal case are disclosable to the defence in a later unrelated case investigated by the same officer: Edmonton (Police Service) v.
