CSE introduces resale restrictions on all prospectus-exempt issuances
Effective May 22, 2025, the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) implemented amendments (the Amendments) to its policy manual (the CSE Policies), following approval from the Ontario and British Columbia securities commissions. These amendments introduce formal resale restrictions on all prospectus-exempt issuances of CSE listed securities, with the exception of those issued by NV Issuers (as defined in CSE Policies), even where such issuances might not otherwise be subject to a hold period under applicable securities laws. The Amendments came into force with immediate effect.
