The Crown stayed the sexual assault and sexual interference charges. The offender and her co-accused sexually assaulted the 14-year-old complainant, who fell asleep at their residence after drinking alcohol. The offender held the complainant’s legs while the co-accused had sexual intercourse with the complainant and engaged in oral sex and digital penetration on the complainant. The offender’s co-accused, who pled guilty to sexual interference, was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment. The offender had no previous criminal record.
