Breaking News > In an important immigration ruling that adds flesh to the bones of the Supreme Court’s Vavilov blockbuster on standard of review, SCC ruled 8-0 that non-citizens may only be inadmissible to Canada under s. 34(1)(e) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act if they engaged in violence linked to national security or the security of Canada: Mason v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2023 SCC 21.
