The plaintiff sought damages from the defendant law firm and Proudfoot, its managing partner, for constructive dismissal. The plaintiff was an associate with the law firm from 2014 to 2016 when he was asked, or required, in an annual performance review meeting with Proudfoot, to go on a disability leave to obtain medical treatment.
