The executor of the estate advised that he intended to auction its farmland to the 12 beneficiaries and their spouses. He proposed that any beneficiary who bid would be deemed to have consented to the accepted offer, thereby dispensing with s. 50.5 of the Administration of Estates Act. The appellants, who were eight of the beneficiaries, expressed general agreement with the proposed sale process.
