Marie-Joëlle Soulières appointed judge in Quebec

Law360 Canada (October 20, 2025, 1:03 PM EDT) -- Quebec Minister of Justice Simon Jolin-Barrette has announced the appointment of Marie-Joëlle Soulières as a judge of the Court of Quebec. She will primarily serve in the Youth Division in Laval.

According to the court’s announcement, Soulières holds a bachelor of laws from the Université de Sherbrooke and was called to the bar in 2004. She began her career in private practice. Since 2011, she has practised at the Integrated Health and Social Services Centre of Laval.
