Goodmans welcomes new partners

Law360 Canada (January 7, 2025, 3:30 PM EST) -- Goodmans LLP has started off the year by announcing that three lawyers have been added to the firm’s partnership: Chris Baxter, Danielle Levesque and Josh Zelikovitz.

According to the announcement, Baxter is a partner in the tax group. His practice focuses on all aspects of income and commodity taxation that occur in corporate and commercial transactions, including domestic and crossborder mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and public offerings.

Levesque is a partner with the firm’s business law group. Her practice focuses on advising emerging companies on matters dealing with venture financings, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law.

Zelikovitz is a partner in the competition and foreign investment group. He advises on all aspects of Canadian competition law, including mergers, behavioural matters and corporate compliance.
