Just Cause for Dismissal in Canada, and I still believe it is true — especially when I do the biannual updates and see all the cases where summary dismissal was upheld. I do not subscribe to the jaded view that “it’s impossible to fire someone in Canada,” but I also caution parties about the dangers of alleging just cause when there is no legitimate basis for doing so....
