Ontario court first in Canada to strike down elements of ag-gag law

The Act came into effect in 2020 and requires the consent of owners of farms or facilities where farm animals are kept, raised or slaughtered as a violation of freedom of expression under section 2 (b) of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms....
