End of COVID-19 travel restrictions and return to the ‘before times’

By Kelly Goldthorpe and Komal Pervez (October 14, 2022, 1:30 PM EDT) -- It has been nearly three years since the World Health Organization (WHO) was informed in December 2019 of a form of pneumonia with an unknown etiology originating in China. Shortly after, on Jan. 25, 2020, the first “corona virus” case was reported in Canada. Following this, on March 11, 2020, the WHO declared that “COVID-19” was a pandemic. The same day, the NBA declared a suspension of the 2019-2020 NBA season. The NHL soon followed suit. There were school and workplace closures. Restrictions on public gatherings prevented close family and friends from seeing each other for long stretches of time. Stay at home requirements forced people to stay home or risk penalties....
