Shortly after, on Jan. 25, 2020, the first “corona virus” case was reported in Canada. Following this, on March 11, 2020, the WHO declared that “COVID-19” was a pandemic. The same day, the NBA declared a suspension of the 2019-2020 NBA season. The NHL soon followed suit. There were school and workplace closures. Restrictions on public gatherings prevented close family and friends from seeing each other for long stretches of time. Stay at home requirements forced people to stay home or risk penalties....
