Wouldn’t it be interesting to see what happens to them over the next few years? Unfortunately, people not used to having money who come into a sudden windfall can get into trouble. It happens to pro athletes who sign million-dollar contracts, those who receive unexpected inheritances and lottery winners. Even people who do expect a windfall can encounter problems, including legal ones. The fact is a sudden influx of wealth can have seriously negative effects and it’s called Sudden Wealth Syndrome....
