Provinces easing barriers for internationally trained doctors, nurses

As a result, provincial regulators of physicians and nurses are reassessing their licensing requirements so that internationally educated doctors and nurses can obtain their licences more quickly. Specifically, colleges in Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and New Brunswick recently announced changes to facilitate the licensing of foreign-trained health-care workers so that they can practise in Canada....
